Virtual Krentel Yoga
This virtual event will take place on the
LEAP Facebook page
Join LEAP for a Friday mindfulness practice on Facebook Live! One hour of restorative yoga led by Katlyn Lindstrom, our Marketing Content Manager and a 200-hour certified yoga instructor!
Most of us are feeling overwhelmed by the sudden changes in our day-to-day routines, which might include working from home and forgoing our usual social activities. For many of us, that also means losing access to our fitness communities as gyms, yoga studios, group classes and more close to comply with proactive state regulations needed to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 and encourage social distancing.
Doing our part to flatten the curve and transition to a virtual office landscape has meant our team of
and our neighbors in REO Town’s Krentel building have lost access to a Friday yoga class and mindfulness break lead by Katlyn Lindstrom, LEAP’s Marketing Content Manager and a 200-hour certified yoga teacher.
LEAP recognizes the value of taking a break from the uncertainty around us and making time for mindfulness and movement, as many remote workers may be feeling more sedentary than in their usual office environments. Starting Friday, March 20, LEAP is excited to extend an invitation to all community members in need of some mindful movement to join Katlyn for a lunch hour yoga practice. These will occur weekly as long as social distancing precautions remain in place – for us, at least until April 6 – and will be live streamed HERE on our Facebook page every Friday from noon to 1pm.
All levels of practice are welcome (yes, even if you’ve never practiced yoga before!). You only need an internet connection, yourself, something comfy to wear and a rectangle to practice on – No mat? No problem! Grab a couple of towels, a blanket or a comfy spot on the carpet. We’ll see you there.
Getting through tough times, we’re always
…at a safe social distance!
